Detomaso Swap Meet, September 26th, 2010

This year, the event was again held at Precision Proformance in Brea, CA

The impressive shop of Bob and Don Byars clearly showed the quality of their work. There were 3 cars undergoing major restoration and they looked stunning. Most of us can only dream of some day being able to turn our car over to these guys and say "Make it better than new". Our hats are off to you Bob and Don.

There were 8 or 10 folks selling a variety of stuff. Nothing exceedingly unusual or rare. It was more of a social event than a serious parts exchange. Nonetheless, just about all the sellers seemed to lighten their loads of excessive parts while others increased theirs.

There was lots of mulling about, catching up with old friends and buying and selling of stuff.

Dave Briggs brought up his Group 4 project car and lots of folks gave it a good looking over.

Someone came accross this ultra rare vintage bottle of Detomaso Schnapps. Brewed in Italy and bottled in Germany!
