The time honored annual tradition of a pre-Vegas
Tech Session was carried out on April 19th. This year the session was
held at Dan Miller's Classic Mustang business in Escondido. This was a
great facility with plenty of room for lots of cars. We had a good
crowd in attendance and lots of stuff got fixed. |
The parking area easily accommodated the participants.
There was plenty of room for more cars too.

Dan's expansive facility was filled to the gills with vintage OEM and
aftermarket mustange parts. You name it he had it. Not to
mention mustang carcasses, err, restorations in waiting, stacked bumper to
bumper outside the shop.

This session wasn't just about Panteras, Craig Cline checked
out an Exxon Valdez scale oil leakage problem in his awesome GT500 428
Shelby Mustang. In addition, a couple of non-Pantera sport sedans were
tech'ed by our Master Technician Dave Briggs.

Jeff Goodall didn't have to do much to his car
today, it just sat there looking fine.

The pet project of the day was Scott Miller's new billet Clutch Master
Cylinder replacement. Just about everyone pitched in to get the job
done and Scott reported that the clutch is now working great.

I, (Mike Becker), got some much needed electrical advice from Dave Briggs
and as a result my new Flex-a-lite shrouded cooling fans are working great.
Ready for nice cool drive to Vegas.

Everyone had a great time and several of us joined up after the session to
catch lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. |
