2009 - Temecula Wine Run

October 10th, 2009 was the day for our annual blast through the pastures. And what a blast we had. Hats off to Renee and Klaus Schoenherr for another incredible wine run. Great drive, great wine, great food and great friends. The perfect blend for a fine blend.

Stop #1 was the Wilson Creek Winery. Ample parking and great covered picnic area were te perfect setting a rest after the long drive up. Renee brought a tasty collection of appetizers for us to snack on while we sampled the local grape juice.

The parking situation could not have been better at the second stop, South Coast Winery. There, we had a long row of reserved space right in front of the winery where the throngs of visitors could get a good look as then entered the winery. And the place was packed to the max!

The dining area was on the outdoor patio and the weather could not have been better. It was absolutely perfect.
